Dear lybrate-user, when you take any medications for ovulation induction, it is better you do follicular monitoring by scans to check for follicle growth and ovulations. If you have regular cycles, you may ovulate around the 12-16th day, but when you take medications, we do not know how your body responds unless we monitor it. So next time you take such medications, please do a follicular monitoring, so you understand when the ovulation happens.

Hi Lybrate-user, letrozole is an ovulation induction drug which stimulates your ovaries to produce eggs so that you could conceive. When this is combined with follicular scans and timed intercourse, your chances of conception is increased.

Hello,
If you are planning for pregnancy this cycle then these meds can be taken under ovulation protocol, however if pregnancy is not a concern then i feel you should be treated for PCOD first.

Lighter periods than normal do not usually cause concern. People often find their menstrual flow varies from month-to-month, and some months are naturally lighter than others. In certain cases, a light period could indicate pregnancy or a hormone-related condition.
