Hi, we are married for a month .recently my wife had swelling in leg and doctor prescribed few medication for three months .we are currently trying for pregnancy. I studied somewhere that taking medication would cause problem and stop pregnancy. Currently she has no issues with her log. Now my question is should we stop taking that medication to get pregnant? The tablets prescribed by doctor are coracal d, nurokind lc and fruselac.

If there is no problem, it is best to stop the medicines. Though except for fruselac, the other two are calcium and vitamins which will help her anyway.

I am a 35 years old woman, severely overweight, I have blisters and open sores on my lower legs where water seeps out of, I drink uo to 6 furosemide tablets a day, I have had wound healing bandages for 2 months straight and was on a antibiotic course of ranclav 1 g two times a day, it is not healing and is getting worse, it is making a course thickening on my skin and ankles and is extremely itchy, what causes this and what treatments can I get to fix this.

What are the symptoms that he is having right now. Give him plenty of fluids. Furosemide tablet is a diuretic. It removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. In doing so, it causes potassium loss.
It does not cause weight loss.

You have mitral stenosis. You may need a balloon dilatation of the valve, called pbmv, which is done via the leg for opening up the tight valve but it depends on your evaluation!
presently what meds you are taking are suffcient unless you get symptoms like breathlessness on exertion.

Hello Doctor, My Grandpa is suffering from severe constipation. He is using Anti Psychotic medications like Risperidone and Quetiapine for his audible hallucinations. Normal laxatives like Milk of Magnesia is not working for him now a days. When a more powerful laxative is given, he is experiencing uncontrolled diarrhea. To control this diarrhea, he is having eldoper drug. After two days, he is suffering again from constipation. His stomach is very rigid and rarely he is experiencing urinary retention problem and using Furosemide for relief. He suffering a lot from these stomach problems. Please see the below further details: Age: 85 years, Weight: 95 Kg Height: 5.6 Ft Current Medical problems: Hypertension, Constipation, Insomnia, Knee Pains, Audible Hallucinations, Occasionally Urinary retention. I had an intercourse with bf on 1st April 2017 (we used protection and he didn't ejaculate). On 3rd April I experienced some spotting nd it was for 2 days only. And now it's been more than a month, I haven't got my periods yet. As I am the patient of hirsutism, I am on the spironolactone (100 mg daily). Due to this I experience abnormalities in my periods. Dear Lybrate User, As you mentioned your condition, use of protection and no ejaculation may be safe, but still periods not come. It may be delayed because of PCOD medicine or normally it may delay. But its more than 1 month so need to confirm with UPT (Urine Pregnancy Test) and with BHCG (Blood Test). Do it at home and you will get the confirmation. I am pcod patient, married, age-27, over weight, planning to convince. I have complete stoppage of my periods, I only get my periods if I have pills n tablet for it. Even if 1 years I won't take tablet, I don't get my periods. My Dr. Said me to have cabgolin 0.5 once in a week. She also suggested me to have lasilactone- 50 mg every day morning for facial hairs. Along with it affect max every day 2 time. There is one more medicine named dreamsure -f once in afternoon. N now have started with krimson-35 for regularization of my periods. I am confused with 2 tablet i.e. Lasilactone and cabgolin, is it correct? N right?
