What are the symptoms that he is having right now. Give him plenty of fluids. Furosemide tablet is a diuretic. It removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. In doing so, it causes potassium loss.
It does not cause weight loss.

You have mitral stenosis. You may need a balloon dilatation of the valve, called pbmv, which is done via the leg for opening up the tight valve but it depends on your evaluation!
presently what meds you are taking are suffcient unless you get symptoms like breathlessness on exertion.

Dear Lybrate User, As you mentioned your condition, use of protection and no ejaculation may be safe, but still periods not come. It may be delayed because of PCOD medicine or normally it may delay. But its more than 1 month so need to confirm with UPT (Urine Pregnancy Test) and with BHCG (Blood Test). Do it at home and you will get the confirmation. No need to worry but need to confirm by this simple test. For any further clinical assistant kindly revert back to me.
Thanking You.
