Cervical pain referred in to your arm may be sign of disc prolapse, nerve impingement or muscle pain. Gabapentin is the medicine for nerve impingement which you are taking. If you are getting an adequate relief with the same, you can continue with it but under medical supervision since the same can have a few untoward effects. Please feel free to drop in your detailed history for further advise.

If you have leg pain then you have to rule out the causes for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. If not if the pain radiates down the back of thigh and legs then it might be due to sciatica. Kindly consult the nearby physiotherapist. Hope you recover soon from the leg pain.

I have seen the details mentioned. I am sure you are aware at your ...more

Also, dear kuma have some faith in your doctor regarding the treatment.
Amitriptyline is a good drug.

Take care.

Dear , amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant. It affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced. Amitriptyline is used to treat symptoms of depression. I am sure the medicine was prescribed by a psychiatrist because your mother needed such a treatment. The medicine is not harmful for her. Work with your psychiatrist for proper care and cure. No self judgement. Take care.
