Pulse rate of 55 to 65 per minute is absolutely normal. I do not understand why you have felt this as a problem. In healthy and fit individuals, more so who are regularly doing exercise or involved in some sports activities, pulse rate at rest is usually low. There are causes other than infection due to which mesenteric lymph nodes swell. If they are due to infection they will come down with the above treatment. If not you need to rule out other causes.
