Dear Ankit,
You are right Ankit. Nicotine in cigarettes also act on the nervous system like those tablets you are taking. Together, they interact in different ways on your brain. Why don't you try and stop smoking so that the drugs can be given in proper effective dose? Stopping smoking, has other medical health benefits too.

A single cycle does not create a suspicion for some problem. Just watch if you get periods within 10 days.

Your are being treated for a fairly serious condition and I recommend that you seek the help of a counselor too. There are certain adaptations that will suit you during the elation phase and there are certain behaviors that are required during the depressed phases. You need to particularly look at your levels ...more

In the case of the bipolar condition your adjustability is more difficult than the normal population. Apart from this there are many issues of the mind that medication cannot address, and these are ideally worked out in therapy. Dear lybrate-user,
lamictal is a mood stabiliser and it prevents recurrent episodes of low mood in the long run.
To lift your mood further, paroxetine and therapy will help. There are few add on supplements too, like same, 5ht, thyroxine, vitamin d, ect. Please discuss your mood and memory problems with your psychiatrist.
