Drink lots of water to regain the water lost due to sweating.
Keep still and quiet.
Have a cold shower or bath. Even a small amount of water sprayed or splashed on you can help. Or try a face washer dipped in cold water and held against your face and forehead for instant cooling relief. Wet towels if you need to cool all of your body and wrap your legs, torso and arms with them.
Wet parts of your body. This can be an effective way to bring about instant cool.

P24 antigen is a viral protein that makes up most of the viral core. Serum concentrations of p24 antigen are high in the first few weeks after infection; tests sensitive to p24 antigen are therefore useful for diagnosing very early infection when antibody levels are still low.

The 4th Generation EIA (aka Duo or Combo) Test looks for both antibodies and P24 protein antigens. The antigen portion of the test is detectable immediately after infection (3-4 days), for the first 2 to 4 weeks. The antibody portion of the test is typically detectable from 4-6 weeks onward. You need not be worried and were you exposed to sex by an infected partner?

Describe both the 3rd generation ELISA test and the 4th generation DUO test for you. The ELISA test looks for antibodies in your blood that your body develops in response to an HIV infection. The window period is the point from first infection until the test can reliably detect antibodies in the blood. Don't worry. That is conclusive. Take care.
