No these products are not at all good as it thins out the skin making it irritable and sensitive Skin colour is natural thing and no cosmetic or medication can alter it. There will be a temporary whitening followed by darker skin again.

You can use RetiK Cream at night regularly. It contains retinol, vitamin c and vitamin k. Check it out on Amazon. Also I suggest using a good sunscreen regularly and a good facewash like Ethiglo Facewash.

Hello, as you mentioned in history about pigmentation, it can be due to many causes like melasma or postinflammatory pigmentation etc. As treatment also depends on the underlying cause. If it is melasma we need to start you on proper melasma treatment.
Kojic acid is good for postinflammatory hyperpigmentation. Always apply sunscreen before going out.
Thanks and stay safe.

Hello, As long as you continue using Sunscreen it will remain at your natural skin color. For people who wish to have fairer skin than what is natural then a maintainance is required. There are other options like glutathione, vit c laser toning etc for getting fairer skin.

Hello, Kojic acid and niacinamide based creams like melaglow are safe and effective though slow. Also use of sunscreens three times a day is required to maintain the results. Consult a certified Dermatologist.

There can be several causes why your skin would turn dark or you may get pigmentation. Sun tan, overweight, pigmentation disorders like acanthosis nigricans or melasma, nutritional deficiency etc are some conditions. Unless someone examines you, we cannot know the cause. Unless we find out the cause it is difficult and pointless to treat. Please send photos with detailed history using online consult option for examination and proper treatment.,

Hello lybrate-user
both the creams are equally good.
But hydroquinone should not be applied for an extended period of time (avoid more than 3 months) as it can cause pigmentation as a side effect.
Apply it at night and if using this, give a break of 1-2 month if applying it continuously for a long period of time
and always remember to use sunscreen to prevent more pigmentation.
