Ativan and lonazep belong to same group (benzodiapine).
Its generally irrational to take both of these together on daily basis for any medical condition.
Consult a nearby psychiatrist for making your prescription more rationale.

Its okay. U can continue with it.
But i'll suggest to consult a psychologist as well. We need to try to overcome the issue and also be free from medication. Regards iqra azim

All psychotropic drugs have side effects. If you focused instead on doing some therapy, you could well come out of the medication with little withdrawal symptoms. You must immediately seek help from a counselor. Your fear is creating an obsession and that will gradually lead to anxiety and compulsive behaviors. If the fear is of recent origin, you could perhaps identify it and deal with it. But if it is from the long past, then much work has to be done to sort that out. Sometimes this kind of ne...more

Hi lybrate-user.
In addition to medicines, addressing what's keeping you awake and making you anxious might be more helpful. I practice cbt and use various relaxation techniques to help with sleep, overthinking and anxiety. Setting a pre-bed routine and getting some physical activity can help you. Switching off your devices an hour before can be beneficial as well.

No sir, it is not at all adviseable to try this medication nor to self-medicate/regulate without doctor's approval. If you are so keen on coming off of this medication and want to improve your health, I suggest that you go for counseling in tandem with he medicines. If you combined counseling with the medication you can expect the best outcomes for your anxiety disorder. However, you must be episode-free for at least three years before the doctor will decide on weaning you off of the medication ...more

You are first of fooling around with medications: if the doctor has prescribed it then it was for a good reason. If you have attacks in the future the doctor will certainly give you more. Panic attacks are fear based, and you will tend to exaggerate the response to the stimulus. What happened when these attacks started may have some bearing on your state. The other possibility is that your constitution may have undergone a bit of change favoring the negative side. If you have been on prolonged s...more

Dear lybrate-user
so far what you have done is enough to stop it. I don't think that this does will have any adverse effects, and even if you experience anything you can take last dose on sos basis. What you are taking now is pediatric dose that is unlikely to cause any discontinuation effect.

It is not advisable or safe to take medicines like clonazepam without it being specifically prescribed by your doctor or without their supervision. Also, it is not a treatment for anxiety, merely something that provides relief from symptoms for a few hours. If you have anxiety, I would advise meeting a medical practitioner and starting proper treatment.
