For severen pain, medicine provide only temporary relief. Once the effect of medicine is over, pain will start again. You have to get the treatment for the source of pain whether it's due to cavity or due to erupting molar. Get it checked from dentist and start treatment accordingly. For time being take painkiller ketorol dt.

Medicines are temporary relief .you need to go to a dentist for exact diagnosis and treatment. You can give him ketorol dt single tablet in case of pain and emergency .but you can't rely on medicines and they can't be taken time and again due to several reasons. So you need to go to a dentist and treatment done.
