Ketoconazol cream you can use for 1to 2 months if indicated. But cap ketoconazole is not advised now a days for its various side effects. Follow up with your nearest dermatolgist.. Thanks.

Hello lybrate-user!
Firstly STOP using Lobate cream. It contains steroid and will not give any benefit. It may also cause side effects.
Using antifungal soap will not make much difference.
I need to the extent of the infection so that I can prescribe the correct medicine. You may start an online consult for that.
Meanwhile, keep the area as dry as possible, wear loose cotton clothes, Use separate towels and avoid physical relationship till you obtain cure.

No. Treatment depends on the severity. Fungal infection or ring worm. When occurs in groin, called as jock itch. Usually fungal infection is common in moist areas of body like skin folds. It's mostly circular or round in appearance. May be red or black in colour. Treatment depending on the type and severity. Avoid sharing clothes, towels and soap; sweating also increases it.
