Keppra is absolutely safe in pregnancy. On the other hand, if you stop taking it, your epilepsy will exacerbate and that will harm you and your baby. So, please continue it. Also start folic acid.

Your neurologist should be able to answer your query well, initially you need to reduce the dosage and see, if no seizures you can further reduce the dose and gradually taper the dose and stop. Ifno epileptic attacks. Also get an eeg done.

Usually anti-seizure medication are prescribed for 3-5 yrs, but it varies from patient to patient. If no further seizure occurs within this period and depending on your situation, they can be discontinued.
