Hello lybrate-user. Hope you are safe and well. It is good to know the measures you have taken until now to control your sinus symptoms. I would suggest you to find out if your sinuses are harboring any nidus of fungal or bacterial infection. We would get a better idea by having a look at your ct scan pns. Just remember that chronic sinusitis is an antigen meditated pathology and needs evidence based management for long term relief.

1. Do saline gargles daily.
2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.
3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of ac. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, when there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected.

1. Do warm saline gurgling and steam inhalation with karvol plus inhalant capsule 2-3 times daily.
2. Put otrivin nasal drop one drop thrice daily. 3. Take viscodyne d syrup 2 tsf 2-3 times daily if you have dry cough or viscodyne syrup 2 tsf three times daily if you have cough with sputum.
4. If no relief, you have to take antibiotic. After consulting doctor.

Tonsillitis is pretty common. Present guidelines suggest that if you have more than 4 to 5 episodes of tonsillitis in a year, or you have difficulty swallowing food, or you snore because of tonsils, then its better to get them operated and removed (surgical removal is absolutely safe, it would not harm your body in any way)

4. Warm salt water gargles daily 5 no cold water / cold drinks / ice creams and so on
6. No smoking/ avoid pollution 7. Wash hands after use of bath room and before and after eating food.
