You can take the help of a dietician who can also help with a variety of diet chart (while taking care of calorie count also ). Please go for regular health check up and repeat the tests as advised. Focus on improving your health rather than worry about the problem. Include exercise and yoga which help in your diabetes management. Discuss about your exercise plan with the doctor so that sufficient precautions can be taken.

Get your kft and electrolytes done regularly.
Avoid high pottasium diets like fruit juices, dates, bananas.....
take lots of fluids.
in case you persistently have raised potassium levels then u can switch over to other anti hypertensives which don't increase Ur pottasium.
Right now it's not worrisome.

The most common cause of genuinely high potassium (hyperkalemia) is related to your kidneys, such as Acute kidney failure. Chronic kidney disease. Eat a diet high in potassium. Eating too much food that is high in potassium can also cause hyperkalemia, especially in people with advanced kidney disease. Foods such as melons, orange juice, and bananas are high in potassium. Take certain drugs that prevent the kidneys from losing enough potassium.
