I fell down from the bike recently and my hands got injured. I went to the hospital and the doctor prescribed T-Muce (Mupirocin) ointment for it. I started applying it for two days. But I feel it like gum and the affected area looks like a thread after few hours. I am getting pain only because of that ointment. While searching about the ointment, it's for some infections like impetigo. Please reply soon. Can I continue or stop using it.

Sir, I underwent circumcision operation 10 days back. Bandage was removed after 5 days. After that I have been applying "mupirocin" ointment. The upper side is healing but the underside that is towards the side of frenulum is not getting dry as it always remains in contact with scrotum. The wound is wet and yellow in colour. I think it's getting worse.

If you are facing such problem visit a surgeon who has operated I am sure he will take care of any problem as this is sensitive area it takes time to feel normal just mantain hygiene, it usually take 4-6 wk to feel fully normal but if any doubt visit your doc.

During sexual intercourse I got a sudden pain on my penis and there was blood everywhere. I have applied mupirocin topical and now it has been 2 days the bleeding has stopped but my frenulum (banjo string) is not torn completely. What to do now? I am tensed about my sexual life and also o have a fear will it tear again?

Its very normal. You are having intercourse for first time so its happening. No problem apply muciporin and try it but slowly and gently. If feeling pain then withdraw it.

Health Query

I am a 17 year old female. I had a red sore under my armpit for about 3 weeks. I thought it would get better but it hasn’t. There is no bump in it. It is just painful and hurts to touch. I’ve tried putting on mupirocin ointment but that didn’t help. Any advice or thoughts of what I could do? I’m deathly afraid of going to the doctor so anything to avoid it.

I am 21 year old male, for about 3 weeks my meatus is swollen, I don't know why it happened as I never had have sex till now. There is no pain, but it looks reddish and lips like structure. It is a normal phenomenon. It will subside in due course of time. This is because of sensitive glans penis which is being exposed .after circumcision.
