There are alternative medicines to rosuvastatin, which will not cause headache. It's best to discuss with your doctor for she can decide on which medicine is best for you based on your comorbidities.

My wife who is 53 years only has been suffering from diabetes from the last 5 years. Her mother was diabetic. She was taking istamet 50/500 before breakfast and glycomet 0.5 before dinner. Her ultrasound report indicate parenchymal echopattern is mildly hyperechoic. Her latest blood report indicates hbaic 8.30 and amp 96 and sgpt 75 and sgot 64. Collateral is border line. Her motions are clear. No gas. Our family physician after examination has prescribed glycomet gp 0.5 before breakfast, tab volibo 0.3 mg after breakfast and tab istamet 50/500, tab cobadex czs, lipigo 10 mg and tab ulyses 300 mg after dinner. She is non alcoholic. Doctor has advised diet control and daily walking. He said higher level of sgpt and sgot are common in persons with diabetes. Your advise regarding sgpt and sgot level. Whether she can do yoga. Dr. s k tondon has answered my question. Thanks for the same. But Dr. has indicated exact level of sgpt and sgot not mentioned. Sir it was mentioned in the question. I repeat sgpt 75 u/l sgot 64 u/l.

Hello, thistamet 50/500? Her mother or your wife? Anks for the query.
I have seen the query. Please clarify following things: what do you mean by: amp 96? (there is nothing like amp) similarly what is collateral? Are you talking about cholesterol? By talking about some usg report are you referring to liver (liver enlargement, called as non alcoholic fatty liver disease nafld). The words used are totally confusing. Plus tell me who is taking istamet 50/500 mg your wife or her mother?
