Please mention correct figures. You mentioned BP as 95/100 (please check it again because this is not correct and of I consider it as 100/95 nobody will prescribe medicine for it)
Try to avoid unnecessary medication as you have mentioned you have one kidney.
Mildly hogh cholesterol can be corrected with doet and regular exercise, which will be helpful in diabetes control also.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
At 40 years, HbA1c% should be closer to 6.8%, to say one has good control. From the glucose levels mentioned, it is clear that present treatment is not helping in controlling blood glucose level. Ideally FBG should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8.
Therefore, we need to have a re-look at the present treatment, dietary intake and extent of daily exercise. We may have to change the present drugs or add one or more compounds to the current ...more

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. You have mentioned about medicines being taken to control blood glucose as well as Gabapentine for controlling neuropathy related symptoms. However, necessary information like after food glucose level, HbA1c%, weight, height, extent of daily exercise lipid profile, BP readings and current dietary intake, these details are not there. Unless all the information is available no specific suggestions can be made. As regards intake ...more

You can add vogli 0.3 twice a day and step up your insulin dose to 22 and 22 per day.
You need an ecg for the chest pain and then go ahead with the treatment.

Your present treatment seems to be fine. But it would be best if you take glucobay 50 along with food thrice a day. And not before food.
