All the above four medicines can be safely taken during pregnancy, none of them cause any fetal malformations.
You will have to continue these medicines throughout pregnancy. You should be under continuos care of your gynaecologist and physician throughout pregnancy and follow their advice.

Hello.
Your Dr. has given you ipt (isoniazid preventive therapy and Dr. must have ruled out active tb before giving you ipt). Isoniazid prevents latent tb infection in to developing in to active tb (disease with signs and symptoms) as its 10 times more common to get active tb in hiv pos pt than in non hiv pos pt. Pl take pyridoxine with isoniazid. Good to see your cd4 count and vl result. Thanks.

No. Kindly wait for few days. And start again. Isoniazid Nd rifampin regime is outdated. At present isoniazid Nd rifampin and ethambutol is considered. Nd infact pyrazinamide has less liver toxicity as compared to rifampin.

There is possible tb infection or another lung pathology. It's therefore required to first screen for tb in all hiv positive persons and then only take a decision on starting isoniazid prophylaxis. To better understand the importance of tb and hiv treatment, please ask your friend to take a private consult with audio video chat and then I can guide you properly and explain or him properly and do my best to help. Out. If in or near mumbai, pl take appointment for personal consultation.
