Good evening lybrate-userji. Ipill is an emergency contraceptive to prevent unwanted pregnancy, constituted with the drug levonorgestrel. It is adviced in female aged 24 -45 years and should be taken with in 72 hours but asap after the unprotected intercourse.

You will get your periods normally but it is important to know when you should be taking ipill. Meaning the day of menstrual cycle when it is required or it is unnecessary. It can be withdrawal bleeding because of emergency contraceptive pill. The chances of pregnancy are almost nil after withdrawal bleeding.
