U100 and u40 is different. If you will commit mistake in that than there can be dangerous outcome.And your sugar will go haywire. And also both insulin is different. Ask your diabetologist about it.

There are many different types of insulins, some are for rapid action like Insulin Actarapid, which starts action with in minutes of injection and helps prevent after food glucose rise. Other Insulin has a longer duration of action, which will prevent late rise of blood glucose. Human Mixtard is a combination of fast acting and long acting insulin.
