Hello dear Lybrate user, Warm welcome to Lybrate.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly. Tadafil is harmful for you as it is going to be abuse like cocaine, heroin ; I do not recommend it for regular basis use.
So far as Insulin is concerned, you have to take it anyway without thinking for alterations in homeopathy or other pathy. Can consult in private for all further assistance.
Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance at my pri...more

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. If blood glucose is 400 mg (fasting, pp or random not mentioned) is very high. Are you having t1 diabetes & since when? Looking at your age it appears so. My suggestion is there are excellent diabetes specialists in mumbai and there is raheja diabetes hospital in mahim. So please consult a good expert who can guide you. Please talk to your doctor as it is very important to keep monitoring the sugar levels lifelong and take the appropriate medicines as suggested by the doctor. One should not stop the insulin. May be he can improve in the long run if he follows a very healthy lifestyle. Proper diet and daily exercise ( let him learn Yoga also ) can help the body to adapt more efficiently ( and thereby may help in keeping the insulin requirements to the minimum ).

Hi.
You have described your case very well, thank you for that.
As you have mentioned, your hba1c was very well controlled at 6.7 last year. You need to check in again now. If it again shows that your diabetes is very well controlled, then there is no such need of changing a very well suited insulin regiment and experiment with a newer one.
Thank you. Take care.

Hello, It is difficult give the dosage based on the information given. If you are on Glargine 40 units at night, then oral antidiabetes drugs plus another combination like Wosulin 30/70 (it is 30 /70 not 30/50), it is a bit odd. Because you are already on a long acting compound. So ideally there should be a short acting one to check post breakfast and post lunch surge. Another aspect the mentioned glucose levels are not too high, therefore Glargine and oral drugs should be enough to give a bette...more

Hi welcome,
Blockage in all three arteries with reduced heart function& hhistory of cardiac arrest is a serious thing. He will definitely need a by pass surgery (CABG). The risk of the surgery will be higher than a normal patient with blockage in all three arteries.

It depends up on several factors. If you were diagnosed type one diabetes since begining then insulin is must.
If you were diagnosed type two and eatlier on oral medicines and insulin was started for certain situations like any surgery etc. You may switch over to oral medicines.
