There are many types of insulinis. Most of them are available in pen. If you are type 1, you would benefit from buying a permanent insulin pen. You would only have to change the cartridges when the insulin gets over inside. Most companies have helplines in place to assist taking of the injections.

Insulin are very much safe. To reduce the fasting plasma glucose value the basal insulin you have mentioned is very much needed. Pl follow your doctors prescription. Wish you good health.

It is important to know that, because it gives a long term view of glucose control. To give any advise I need to know hba1c%, exact fbg & pp levels, serum creatinine, urea, dietary pattern & extent of daily exercise. One can definitely change from 30/70 insulin to glargine, but dosage n...more

So it is difficult to give a straight answer whether you can increase the dosage of insuli...more

The use of lantus can be combined with either a short acting or intermediate acting insulin depending upon the sugar values and its your doctor judgement to decide the dosage because short actings effects will last for three hours and intermediate effects will last for eight hours.

Hello pp is high .. need to be controlled.. I suggest you to give him Homeopathic treatment Along with allopathic Medicines. it helps to maintain sugar levels to normal and prevents complications.. once sugar levels are normal slowly we can cut off allopathic medicines.. you can consult me online for Homeopathic treatment..no side effects..
