Never use over the counter medicine for abortion. Always medical termination of pregnancy under direct supervision after ultrasound scan.

It is best to get an ultrasound done. That will rule out the possibility of retained products. Depending on the report, further action will be initiated.

Hello,
Medical abortion should always be done under doctor guidance and the success rate is highest when done before 7 weeks of pregnancy a usg must be done before medical abortion to confirm the period of pregnancy and location.

Bleeding should start after misoprostol. At times bleeding is there for 12-13 days. Then ultrasound is done to ensure complete evacuation.
