Asked for male, 39 years old from Chamba

I am having a strange feeling of cold and minty sensations in the back of my throat since a week. It started a day after taking alcohol and a heavy dinner a week back. When I woke up in the morning I felt a minty cold sensation in the back of my throat leading towards my stomach. Its been a week now and its still there as it is. I felt the same sensation a year before but it went away automatically. But this time its persistent and irritating. Sir I am suffering with acid reflux from a long time. It comes by and goes off so many times in a year. I felt the same cold sensation 15 days back but it went away after taking omeprazole for 3-4 days. I have been advised an ENT to take pantoprazole, domperidone combination, Sucralfate suspension and levocetirizine and montekulast tablets after diagnosing oesophageal inflammation. No improvement so far, kindly advise are these medications appropriate or do I need a different prescription. I am an active cyclist and cycle for 32 km alternate day and visit Gym 4 days a week.

Looks like u have an upper respiratory tract condition
Plz check on ur diet to avoid stuffs that are cold and sweet
Also avoid exposure to ac or take precautions to keep warm
Drink only warm water

Sir I am 25 years old before three months I had head ache and heaviness on head and increased heart rate and fr said it is anxiety issues and gave medicine for anxiety. After two weeks I had chest pain and feeling of something stuck in the middle of chest also throat pain comes before bloating. Ecg and tmt was normal. Dr. said that it is gerd and he gave sucralfate gel and pantodac 40 mg for one month and I had it though I have severe head ache for sometime. Bloating has gone and acid reflux issue reduced now I take only pantoprazole in morning bt I have left side eye pain left side head ache left side hand pain and leg pain. When I saw tv and use ph it increases. Also at that times it feels like muscles around my neck gets tightened then bloating occurs. Can I continue my medicine? What to do next sir?

Hello,
there is no need to worry too much about your problem the medications you have been prescribed will generally look after you. all the medicines for headache are susceptible to increase your stomach problem.So you should not use pain killers. Massages and local pain relieving creams may be a better idea for you

Hi, I am 28, suffering from indigestion, hyper acidity, sour mouth, loss of appetite, vomiting tendency since last 14 years, visited doctors, taking medicines. Omeprazole, rabeprazole, pantoprazole, aciloc rd all have been prescribed to me. At first medicines work, then again symptoms re-appears. Because of loss of appetite, i'm too underweight. Usg, lft, endoscopy all done, h-pylori was detected and cured in 2017, last year only mild deodintis found, which is not a major issue, as doctor said. Recently, suffering more. Since last 1 month, not able to eat properly, feeling full after having 2-3 bites, feeling uneasy after having water, getting sour taste in mouth all the time, no appetite. Taking tablet esoz fast in empty stomach, sucralfate o syrup before meal and ultizyme tablet before meal, since last 8 days. But no improvement. Already underweight and loosing weight because of not having sufficient food. Doctor told to continue the same medications but I can't see any improvement. Now, getting stressed to resolve this problem, to be fit and fine. Can someone help me out, please.

My daughter, age 65 was under treatment for cancer and after six months has been discharged and at home. She is awfully weak and weighs around 32 kg. She finds it difficult to swallow and does not try enough (in my opinion). Any suggestion to prompt her to slowly get into more solid food and recoup?

Sir, tab practin tds will increase her appetite
and a mixture of benadryl. Codeine, sucralfate, dispin and steroids mixture which is to gargled will help apart from this a few other measures will help out.

Am getting burning sensation in the stomach after my meal, not able to sleep during night time because of the burning sensation.The irritation getting subside after having Gelusil. Its been there for more than 3 weeks. Because of this not feeling hungry in the morning and not able to eat properly.

Tab Rabeprazole 20mg once daily (morning/empty stomach) for three weeks
syrup Sucralfate 3 tsp 10minutes before meals)for 10days
Tablet metoclopramide 10mg once daily for 3days
Avoid spices, tea, coffee,smoking
take meals at time. Don't do fasting

If not resolved in three days:--

it means that you have got small ulcers in your stomach. avoid spicy food,drinks and take anti-ulcer agents like ppi and sucralfate. get tested for helicobactor pylori,if no relief with simple medicines
