It is better to follow one system of Medicine rather than combining multiple systems . Each drug may. react with each other and nullify or produce fresh side effects .In arthritic conditions Physical exercises ,yoga and respiratory exercises will also help to minimise the pain Even if a gap is there on consuming the medicines will be there in the body for a long time

I am now 41 years old male. I am a teacher, I used to teach standing for 3-4 hours daily. Now in pandemic I need to teach in seating position online for 3-4 hours daily. I am experiencing a shooting pain in right buttock when I seat even for 30 minutes. As I stand up I find muscles stiffness in lower right side back area and below right knee and the calf of right leg. I done x-ray but doctor says nothing is there need to do mri to know is any vein pressed under spine or muscle issues in buttock region. I do not experience any pain in standing position. What shall I do? Is mri necessary of any exercise, yoga, medicine from unani, ayurveda or homeopathy will help me. I have been given capsules indocap sr for 5 days. It works only for 15-16 hours, I do not feel pain for that time but later it resumes. I found the pain is shifting in the buttock, calf, lower right back region. Please help.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. From that I understand that you have had pain due to neuropathy in certain pats of your body. Plus you have taken quite a few medications earlier. However, there is absolutely no mention about the blood glucose levels and HbA1c%. Because the primary requirement is to achieve a strict glucose control for keeping symptoms in control. If you are experiencing the same symptoms now, the earlier medications can be taken. In this communic...more

If I think you are suffering from ankylosing spondylitis. you can try indomethacin if you haven't. Nowadays tnf alpha inhibitors are also given for the same. Exercise is a must in these diseases.

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) — such as naproxen (Naprosyn) and indomethacin (Indocin) — are the medications doctors most commonly use to treat ankylosing spondylitis. They can relieve your inflammation, pain and stiffness.
