Dear doctor, good day. I have problem with my middle ear. The disease is endo lymphatic hydrops. Gradually I am losing hearing. Sometimes I feel restless and I feel very bad. I am taking neuro b (1 0 1, cinaron plus (1 1 1), natrilix sr (one tab in every 3rd day), clobe and meclizine (on ear attack). Is there any alternative for natrilix sr because my k ranged decreased. To stop hearing loss and to keep myself fit what should I do? any doctor is there for giving me advice me? I can send my all reports doctor said in bangladesh that, gradually I will be loosing hearing and at last there will be no problem in the ear and I will have not hearing capability. Now, I am confused about my treatment. For giving me advice I can send money through dhl. With best regards.

I am 68 years old. I have been operated for bye pass surgery in 2013. I was taking natrilix sr tab and telista cl tab for blood pressure. Now for prostate gland problem, I am taking alfoo tab. I found that due to alfoo my bp is going down to 105/70. Hence my doctor stopped telista cl and my bp is now 120/80. My question is that can I take telista cl instead of natrilix sr? Because I have about 6 to 7 strips of telista cl in stock. This may be a foolish question. But I want to finish stock of it. Please reply.

Natrilix is an antihypertensive. Whereas alfuzocin is used for bph (benign prostatic hyperplasia), a side effect of which is fall in bp. Under medical supervision your prostrate medicine need to be changed if you are having lower urinary tract obstructive symptoms like urgency, frequency, straining in micturition (urination), etc, please take a call after visiting a general surgeon or urologist, who will in turn decide after a thorough physical examination and required investigations.

I am 50 years old, diagnosed of hbp, cholesterol, angina for 4 years. I am on Pladox, Bisoprolol, Natrilix & Simvastatin. I also have knee pains. I took pain relief & apply balm. If pain relief finishes, the pain starts again. Please, what natural remedy will I use so that all these problems will go permanently. Thank you immensely.

Health Query

Recently 3 weeks ago my pressure sought to 190/160. During that period my left hand and leg has totally got numb. I see fewer strength in it. My pressure is now normal after having losar 50 twice daily along with Natrilix SR once a day. However the numbness in hand and leg remains and I fell a strange burnt out sensation in my palm and toes. Please advice.

You have got transient ischemic attack as per your symptoms provisionally. It will take time to regain normal sensation. Strict b.p control is advised.

I am diabetic since 2004 having hypertension since 2008. My last tests on 28.12.19 showed the following results: glucose fasting 116, p.p 126, blood urea nitrogen 9, creatinine 0.8,cholesterol 180, triglycerides 134, hdl cholesterol 43, direct ldl cholesterol 119, non hdl cholesterol 137, chol/hdl ratio 4.2,ldl/hdl ratio 2.8,vldl 26.8,hba1c 7.6,mean glucose plasma 171.4. I am taking the following medicines: glimisave m2=1 zitamet 20+500=1, ln bloc 5=1 and half natrilix sr=1 (added just 6 months back) multivitamin=1 for the last 2 and half months I am having dry cough and after taking amoxicillin for 10 days and cetrizine it was cured but after that but the dry cough returned after a gap of 20 days. Feeling liquid sinus discharge at the back of throat. Since natrilix sr was added around 6 months back I have some doubt whether it or any other above medicine can cause side effect of dry cough. I am allergic to sulpha medicines. Please advise whether the medicines need review.

I am a 50 year old man and taking medicines for bp for last 6 months. While the bp still remains high, 145/95, there has been a side effect of erectile dysfunction, almost like impotence. I am taking natrilix, metpure xl 50 in mornings and thelma 40 in the evening. What should I do, firstly to get bp to lower than 140/90 constantly, and to get over the erectile problem. I am having a less salt diet for last 3 months, exercising at least 5 days a week, which includes, brisk walk and jogging. My weight is normal for the age. Ht/wt is 169 cms, 65 kegs. There is hypertension in my family, both my father and elder brother are hypertensive.

I'm diabetic since last 20 years. I'm given Tab. For BP 1.FIrst time Natrilix SR 1.5 mg (BP 130/90) 2.2nd time Amlong 5 mg (BP 150/95) 3.3rd time. Natrilam 5 mg (change for feet swelling) 4.4th time. Telma40 mg (change for swelling) 4. Now telmisartan (Telma20 mg). BP was 115/80. But I could not take for 5 days continuously and checked every day 2 times it is 120/80. Kindly advise whether it should be continued or not or reduce the dosage.

If your BP remains high with out medicine, you have to take some anti hypertensive medicine under supervision of a Physician. Discuss everything with him.

I am 66 y old man. I am active and do regular exercises like surya namaskar,push upssit-ups, and recently started pranayama as per Happiness Program of Art of Living. For blood pressure and cholesterol I am taking tablets Eritel LN 40 (After morning breakfast), NATRILIX SR (After morning breakfast), Collacium D3 (After morning breakfast), ROZAT F (five days a week before going to bed), and Neurobion Forte (before going to bed). I have problem of maintaining erection for about an year. I can maintain erection for 10 15 minutes. Is Viagra a solution.

Earlier also I had taken Rosuvas for high cholesterol but stopped when it got controlled. I am also suffering from high BP and take Azilday 80 n Natrilix daily. But I don't have any chest pain or discomfort. I am a regular walker n try to walk 5 kms at least 4 to 5 times in a week, within 50-60 minutes. please advice. Do I need to see a cardiologist. My 2D echo and ECG r normal.

You are taking good care of health, so stay confident. TMT test is often positive even without any blockage in women, in hypertension, and when natrilix medicine is used. In your case all 3 reasons contributing to misleading and probably false positive report. So avoid tmt tests.
Also, I suggest you avoid cholesterol checks and cholesterol medicines. They are useful in patients sick with blockage, not much use if no blockage illness.
