Inderal La 80Mg Tablet Health Feed

Every time I eat I get felling anxious with pulse rate of around 120 which sometimes goes beyond 120 (highest goen 180, mostly happens when I am seating or lying which gets better when I stand up and starts walking. My doctor says you are over thinking and gave inderal la 20 mg tablets. Which helps me in lowing down my pulse but sometime I feel weired (like nervousness between my chests and throat )even when my pulse is perfectly normal i.e. Around 70 -75. I have gerd and allergic rhinitis also is this due to any of these conditions or it is a heart related or its anxiety only. As I have done ecg which is normal. This happens for around 10 months every day and whole day. When I wake up I am perfectly alright but after breakfast it starts and remains for the day until a take pill of inderal la, which I usually prefer to take at night so that I can sleep. Also sometimes my eyes swells for just few seconds and has pain in my eye lids on sides also I feel sometimes that I am unable to focus, and sometimes dizziness. Kindly help in this regards.

I would suggest that you visit a cardiac electrophysiologist nearby, who is an expert in cardiac rhythm disorders. The exact nature of your palpitations has to be found out before suggesting change in medications. Because palpitations can be secondary to a normal rhythm as well as abnormal rhythm.
Also we have drugs which have a better safety profile than inderal.

Frequent change in medication is not a good idea. Now that you are on inderal stick with it for a few days /week before changing it. The correct drug for you can be only prescribed after a complete review of the type, frequency and other details about headache.
