Low dose methotrexate is what is used in rheumatoid arthritis. Just like low dose asprin is used in patients with stent. BOth are safe when used together. High dose methotrexate i.e. more than 45 mg per week or high dose aspirin i.e. more than 325mg per day can cuase problems when taken together.
