Fever is not a disease! It's a known fact that the normal human body temperature is 98.6 F (37 C). If the temperature goes beyond that, then it's called fever. But one must not worry every time if there is a rise in the temperature.
Why?
The reason is that the immune system is designed to raise temperature as a defence mechanism if there is an attack by a foreign body (such as bacteria). So body temperature may fluctuate between 97 and 100.4. But there is no need to worry.

Hello,
thanks for your query on Lybrate
"as" per your clinical history is concerned as per his age he should be given (hatric syrup-2.5 ml) once a day and (ascoril dose should be 2.5 mg twice a day) for cough. Drink plenty of water to reduce side effect of medications. Hand shivering and palpitation is the side effect of cough medications so nothing to be worried at all and check and record his body temperature every 6 hours and if body temperature is there then add antibiotic syrup.

Fungal infection of the skin occurs because of sweating and exposure to fungal elements from contact with infected persons. The medication you have taken is correct but a proper regimen has to be followed for them to effect you properly.
A regular course of medications need to be taken for a period of at least 1.5 months for complete eradication of the infection.
Please do not hesitate to contact me personally for further queries.
