You need to continue medications as advised by your doctor and review on a monthly basis. Do not stop the medicines on your own else the symptoms would relapse. We generally titrate the medicines very slowly over a period of few months to keep the child asymptomatic.

Mometasone is a steroid. It has to be stopped immediately. Long term usage will spoil your skin so much. Even we cant correct it. Lot of alternative safe options are there. Please meet a dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon for a proper guidance.

Hello lybrate-user, As of now avoid going in direct sunlight and it’s better to not use tretinoin and hydroquinone and steroid based ointment and plan for symptomatic treatment and if necessary I will suggest you to upload the image of the lesion for diagnosis and further guidance.

The cream you are using should never be put on face. Spots on skin may be secondary to acne, sun damage, chicken pox and many more reasons. You need different depigmenting creams for clearance and maintainence. Also you should use a sunscreen regularly. The choice of creams depends on your skin type and pigmentation type. Donot self medicate and consult a dermatologist.

It is steroid cream - and I would advice strictly against it - kindly stop that - and use sunscreen in day - moisturiser in night and consult a qualified dermatologist regards.
