Most often it's viral infection. Fever usually settles down in 3 to 4 days. Cough takes 7 to 10 days. Continue same treatment. Small children get frequent infections because of low immunity.

Dear lybrate-user,
Here are tips to increase potassium levels.
Eat atleast two fruits a day, as fruits are good source of potassium.
Include 200 ml og curds a day.
Include green leafy vegetables on a daily basis.
Include dal on a daily basis.
Dark chocolate, coffee, jaggery, mushroom are other food that can be included to boost potassium.
Prevent yourself fron diarrhoea and do not take diuretics, as they increase the excretion of potassium.
