The effect of tetanus vaccine will be for one year and if you keep repeating every month for 3 months and thereafter, every year once the effect can last upto 5 years

If you have full tetanus toxoid vaccination schedule one shot can provide more than one year immunity.

Another T.T. Is given to prevent from tetnus for a longer period even if you get injury in that period. However the 2nd dose is usually given 4-6 weaks after and the third dose after 6-8 months.

The current guidelines suggest to take primary vaccination like bcg/ easysix/pentavac/ mmr on priority basis on time
Precaution to b taken is to inform prior to visiting hospital n avoid crowding.
Booster vaccination can b delayed

If you had the complete tetanus vaccinations and the one you received last year was a booster. You don't need any tetanus injection for five years.
