Hello,

Thanks for your query on Lybrate

"As" per your clinical history is concerned pain in the hand, feet and chest is not due to jaundice so to rule out it please check your blood and urine for bile salt and pigments.

Do a clinical examination by your treating Doctor and check your blood differential count on tomorrow morning and if eosinophil % is high then discuss with your Doctor about [ diethylcarbamazine].

Hope that helps

Treatment for elephantiasis includes:

antiparasitic drugs, such as diethylcarbamazine (DEC), mectizan, and albendazole (Albenza)
using good hygiene to clean the affected areas
elevating the affected areas
caring for wounds in the affected areas

Very unlikely. You can consider a course of Hetrazan after consulting a local physician. However get an USG Scrotum done to rule out any underlying tumors of testis.
