If dry skin has left you with small, itchy areas on your body, an over-the-counter anti-itch cream or ointment containing 1% hydrocortisone may offer some relief. Hydrocortisone is a type of steroid medicine that helps reduce itching, redness, and swelling.

Hydrocortisone cream and calamine lotion are both effective home treatments for an irritated and inflamed armpit rash. However, hydrocortisone creams (steroid creams) will worsen fungal rashes. Using anti-chafing powders can also help reduce the discomfort caused by an armpit rash.

Short-term use of nonprescription hydrocortisone cream containing at least 1 percent hydrocortisone can temporarily relieve an itch accompanied by red, inflamed skin. So can calamine lotion or creams that include capsaicin. Topical anesthetics, such as pramoxine, may be helpful. Avoid scratching whenever possible.

Cutisoft is hydrocortisone a low potent steroid. Use as it is required. Not for a long time. You can use nevlon lotion for dry skin as it is a moisturizing lotion.
Consult if needed.
