It is an anti oxidant which captures free radicals and reduces skin pigmentation.
Any drug has side effects and it holds true for glutathione too.
it is been widely used in market as skin whitening cream and shows some improvement too.

Glutathion helps in skin lightening, but Injectable form of glutathion is only approved for the use to treat liver diseases and not for skin lightening because of potential dose related side-effects. 35-40 injections are needed, placed at 2-3 day intervals. Spots on skin may be secondary to acne, sun damage, chicken pox and many more reasons. You need different depigmenting creams for clearance and maintainence. Also you should use a sunscreen regularly. The choice of creams depends on your skin type and pigmentation type. Donot self medicate and consult a dermatologist.
