Continue taking pantop d twice a day. If you are vomitting too much and getting dehydrated get admitted. Dehydrated means - lack of water in body as desired, and if you r passing less urine than before, darker in colour, feeling exhausted and tired, not able to eat and drink properly.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the information given. i do not understand the relationship between Pantoprazole and diabetes treatment.
You have mentioned fasting and PP (?) glucose level but no HbA1c5. So it is difficult to comment.
Pantoprazole is for controlling stomach acid secretion, it has nothing to do with glucose control. Please clarify why that has been mentioned. Thanks.

Ulcer in endoscopy will require long treatment of H pylori (multiple drugs) which I think your doctor must have given you. If the pain is persistent then a long course of pantoprazole (pantocid) might be needed. Also a repeat endoscopy to rule out any new ulcer is to be done.
Also if you keep fasting in Roza during Ramzaan then this problem might be increased so take pantocid regularly.
Also you can start sitting in Vazrasan (like namaaz posture) 5 to 10 min after lunch & dinner (each me...more

Dear lybrate-user, I assume your mother is suffering from chronic gastritis or functional dyspepsia. H pylori is difficult to eradicate at old age. Our focus should be on improving health. Antibiotics are effective only short term, ppi such as pantoprazole are completely unnecessary and cause more symptoms such as gas and bloating. Reducing acid is not solution, infact as we get older we lose stomach acid. Acid helps digest food and kill bacteria in intestine. So, try to never suppress acid. Try...more

Hello, Thanks for the query. Usually atorvastatin does not cause any hyperacidity or such related symptoms. But if you are experiencing increased acidity then you may take pentaprazol as mentioned. Thanks

Your immune system is responsible for defending the body against bacteria and viruses. In some cases, your immune system will defend against substances that typically don’t pose a threat to the human body. These substances are known as allergens, and when your body reacts to them, it causes an allergic reaction. You should take only prescribed medication to avoid any side effects.
