the full course would be to take 400 mg twice a day for a week.
Along with this treatment of the partner too, otherwise recurrent infection will keep happening.
Avoid intercourse while on treatment and practice barrier method contraception (condom) in future.
If not treated a vaginal swab and confirmation of the infection is required.

If you are symptoms free, just relax but be cautious of any discharge / fever / pain. If all is well you do not need to worry but personally I feel a probiotic will do you good.

Hello Lybrate user. Usually for wisdom tooth ache, an antibiotic and pain killers are given. Lornoxicam is a pain killer and metronidazole and cefuroxime are antibiotics. Paracetamol is also given pain relief. One pain killer tablet is enough. The pain will subside gradually. The medications will give only temporary reliefs. The permanent relief is by doing impaction. Take an orthopantamogram and go for impaction. Consult me for further details. Thank you. Thank you.
