I’m 20 weeks pregnant and still having morning sickness with severe vomiting, i’m taking tablets doxinate and zofer is it ok to continue these tablets? My doctor suggested me to stop zofer immediately but if I don’t use zofer i’m having severe vomiting please suggest me is it ok to continue zofer and how to control vomiting and still how many days I will have this problem more?

My wife is pregnant via IVF. She has twins and 6 week pregnancy. She is suffering from severe nausea and vomiting, taking doxinate tablet BD but no improvement shown, ondansetron 4 mg bd also failed but granisetron 1 mg works well. I want to ask that taking granisetron in pregnancy is safe or not and how long can my wife take it and what is the exact dose? Please tell me. I am so much worried.

Granisetron s safe in pregnancy. It can be taken as long as nausea n vomiting is persistent. Exact dose 1 mg three times a day. But it can be taken as and when required as well maximum 3 times a day.

I'm 10 weeks pregnant but i'm not able to digest my food due to nausea and vomiting. Dr. advice me one doxinate daily but still I didn't get rid from vomiting. My weight is also decreasing as i'm not able to digest my food. I tried many things like avoid spicy and oily food or overeat and I also increased my frequency of taking some food like fruits, nariyal pani and glucon d but there is no effect in my nausea and vomiting, what to do now?

Hi m 9 weeks 5 days pregnant m suffering frm hyperemesis gravidarum. continuously vomiting 10/15 tyms in a day. Doc suggested me to take doxinate. But it's not working. I was hospitalized for one day. As soon I come back vomiting started, doc prescribed ondem mg 4 but not on a regular basis. But if I dnt take ondem my vomiting not stopping .wat to do now?

OS CLOSED OVARY NORMAL NO FREE FLUID IN CULDESAC Taking doxinate @nyte Rantac twice daily Folvite once daily Stopped:-- Progynova thrice -(2-2-3) daily which gt STOPPED AT 12TH WEEK & Crinone gel - twice Susten injection on every 4th day Both progesterone support on 13 week My doctor now advised to start Oral progesterone SUSTEN SR 300 TWICE DAILY SINCE YESTERDAY. IS IT OKAY? TODAY I HAD VOMITING WITH THICK BLOOD JUST AFTER MY FOOD. Everything is fine. Vomitting is an element of pregnancy. Its always because of intolerence to smell. It would disapper on its own. As you have already crossed 12 weeks it does not matter if you take progesterone becasue the placenta is developed by now and is secreting its own progesterone. Everything else seems to be ok. Keep an eye on the diet you are taking.

if there is no symptom u need not take it. use them only if she get it before the next check up because nausea and vomiting start a little late before next month

Hi Doctor, My wife is pregnant with 13 weeks. Now she is facing head ache on every two three days. She is taking below medicine: Hcg inj. Twice in month during first trimester (5000iu) Proluton depot (250) every week during first trimester. Both injections course is completed. Other medicines are duvadilan retard daily. One folic acid tablet daily and doxinate of for nausea. Ultrasound scan at three month is good. Can you pl. Suggest for headache and other medicines if required. Dr. Has suggest injections as her earlier pregnancy was unsuccessful because of blighted ovum. Pl. Suggest for headache and other medicines if required. Thanks and regards.

I will suggest you to buy a steam inhaler machine of crescent company and Take a flow of steam (of plain water only) over the forehead through the inhaler and can repeat the process after eight hours as and when required and For headache take tablet paracetamol 500 mg.

In liver function test her total bilirubin is 1.3, alkaline phosphatase 246, S.G.P.T. /ALT 389, S.G.P.T./ AST 431, other tests are normal. Super, urea creatinine, he, by,CT, are normal. Now doctor has given udiliv 300+150, live 52 Ds, allegra 180, Sir as it is clearly seen that liver function is not proper. Will you please tell me in this condition whether her baby will be affected or what should she do. Is it curable.

as her liver reports are normal then do not worry. Itching in pregnancy is common due to dry skin. Simple coconut oil massage will solve your problem
continue with iron b complex and calcium with protein diet. Discontinue allegra and live 52.

My lmp is 18/5/17. I am having brownish discharge since 1 month on and off. Usg done on 21/8/17. Usg shows low lying placenta completely covering internal os. Ans retroplacental collection of 381421 mm near internal os. I am on inj. Hucog 5000hp weekly. Duphaston 10 mg tds. folvite and doxinate plus and glyciphage. please suggest me what to do? Can it cause abortion? Baby is 13wks 4 days according to usg. It can harm da baby? Is miscarriage is common in these cases? Is there is any chance to carry da baby at least up to 32 weeks?

The discharge is due to low lying placenta and retro placental hsematoma. You should take complete bed rest till the haematoma is resolved. Take soft diet and drink plenty of fluids s that you don't have constipation. Continue with your medicines. In central placenta praevia there is an increased risk of abortion and preterm delivery, but if you follow all precautions pregnancy can be carried till term.

If you have crossed 12 weeks then there is no point to take progesterone as the placenta takes over it. You can stop progesterone after 12 weeks of pregnancy.
