I have seen the details given. From that it is clear that she is on multiple medications. However, there is no mention of herHbA1c%, weight, extent of physical activity, particularly exercises like brisk walking or any other activity plus dietary pattern . Diabetes can be controlled/managed by a proper regulated diet and exercise..>> Avoid 3 big meals. Instead take small mini meals every 2/3 hours. "As" per your clinical history is concerned please discuss with your family doctor about the nature of your disease [Type 1 and Type 2], if type 2 then you can take medication as mentioned and if type 1 then you can take insulin regularly. In any case sugar level, 312 is very high at your age and it can deteriorate your heart further.

Sorry to know that your mother is having diabetes and is not controlled by tablets that doctor is giving her and inspite of the fact that she takes a proper diet and exercises daily her blood sugar continues to be high.
