When one takes adequate dosage of drugs, plus follows a strictly controlled diet and does regular exercise, blood glucose does get controlled. Therefore, it appears your present treatment is not proper. I have seen the query. It is incomplete. There is no information on what is the fasting, pp glucose level or hba1c%, or your weight, height, dietary pattern and extent of physical activity. So difficult to give any suggestions. Thanks.

Hello sir, thanks for the query. Your medication needs to be changed. Start zoryl mv1 one tablet before lunch and 1 before dinner. Also start tab ziten m 20/500 one tablet in morning before breakfast. Keep your routine regular.
Eat food at regular intervals (every 4 hourly. Eat a balanced diet.
Exercise for atleast 1 hr daily.
Check your sugars after 1 month fbs, pmbs, hba1c.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Tab Gluconorm SR 500 is containing only Metformin, where as The other tablet has Glimepiride 1 mg plus metformin. So the action can be much stronger. That may lead to lower glucose levels. Plus changing medicine with doctor's advise, is not good. Thanks.
