Firstly, You need to know that medrol is a steroid and steroids are medicines with lots of side-effects. I am sure that your doctor would have started your mother on steroids because her asthmatic condition would have endangered her life and he would have been left with no choice but to start steroids. I respect his decision and would urge you also to understand the urgencies that we as doctors face to save our patients - sometimes taking calculated risks! As a next step, the doctor would try to...more

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Your glucose control seems to be fairly good. Ideally HbA1c% should be <7%, but 7.4 is also not bad. There appears to be no need to change any medication. However, looking at your weight and height, it is clear that you are over weight, because at your age ideal body weight should be < 63 kgs. So if possible a bit of additional physical activity and better diet control should be practiced. Thanks.

People have different tendencies to get adjusted to temperature differences. Some like cool environment and some like hot. You, are a chilly person who cannot withstand sitting in or under AC. If possible, ask the authorised person to increase the temperature or wear warmer clothes if you know you are going to be under AC for longer period of time.

Sweating is good for health and this denotes good metabolism. However excessive sweating is due to humid environment which is happening in rainy seasons. But if it happens in normal seasons also then it could be due to anxiety. Consult online and discuss.
