Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. Since there is no information on fasting, pp glucose, hba1c%, lipid profile, dietary pattern & extent of daily exercise, there is no way to give any suggestion. Secondly your bmi (body mass index) is 28.65 kgs/sq meter (normal < 23 kgs/sq meter) which means you have an excess of over 15 kgs. This is a major hindrance in better glucose control. You add glyciphage 1 gm twice daily along with what you take now and let me know
it is not as easy task to control blood sugar in the desired normal range. Whatever we eat is metabolised to sugar in the body to provide energy for our daily activities. For the absolute control, one has to monitor his / her blood sugar at regular intervals (self-monitoring of blood glucose? smbg). Though difficult, this can be done by a glucometer and keep a record.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
WHen in very good control glucose should be: FBG: < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c%, <6.8 or even less. So please look at these values in relation to your glucose levels. That will give a clear idea. Thanks.

Hi if your sugar levels are in control, then there is no need to change medications or add any for the time being. However, person with t2 diabetes at some point of time in the treatment may have go in for insulin injections. Right now for you this stage is not there.
