I am diabetic patient my age is 42 years female I am suffering from diabetic last 14 I take insulin insulin injection 35 unit early in the morning and glimepiride 3 mg BD and metformin 2 gram and voglibose 0.3 BD ten gliptin. But my diabetic is not in control average diabetic is randomly 240 what I do. High platelet count I take medicine hydroxy urea 500 milligram BD last 10 year all reports of my kft lft lipid profile CBSE is normal.

Please let me know whether you take a properly planned restricted diet? Do you exercise regularly? With a BMI of 28.125 kgs/Sq meter(normal < 23 kgs/Sq meter), you are fairly over weight. There are some side effects of all anti diabetic drugs.
But you need them to control sugar levels as high blood sugar level is more dangerous.

I am using 2 mg glimepiride twice morning and night, metformin 500 mg before breakfast and istamet tab 50/500 twice a day after lunch and dinner along with 20 units of lantus insulin. My hba1c is 7.9 and reactive hyperglycemia for pp, fluctuating between 190 and 220 with fasting sugars between 100 and 110. I am 52 and lean frame of 5.8with 68 kgs. Do I need to change medication to achieve target 6.5 hba1c.

This is 57 years female from Kolkata. I'm a diabetic (take (GLIMEPIRIDE 2 mg + METFORMIN 500 mg) after breakfast & METFORMIN 500 mg after dinner) & 10 iu insulin overnight ,fasting 80, PP 287 measured today. I want to know can I take glimepiride 2 mg+ metformin 1000 me twice a day to lower the glucose level. For the last 1 year, I'm seeing that my fasting glucose level is under 100, but PP is above 200. More over what is the difference will be in result if a patient take GLIMEPIRIDE 2 mg + METFORMIN 1000 mg instead of GLIMEPIRIDE 1 mg + METFORMIN 1000 mg?

As mentioned your FBG is fine (93 mg), but PP is definitely high. The reason for fasting being low is the Insulin dosage being taken at night. You need to reduce the post lunch glucose level. So you may look at increasing only Glimepiride dosage rather than taking two tablets of double dose of both (glimiperide + Metformin). That may become excess.
