All medicines have side effects. Ask your Dr. if he wishes to try glycomet plain 1 gm after dinner daily for 2 months. If you wish to try without medicines, that may be the best. Increase low glucose foods, reduce high glucose foods. For specific instructions please discuss on phone. Best wishes.

Hi lybrate-user,
fasting sugar 200 is definitely high, but to suggest specific treatment, I need more information like ppbs, hba1c, duration of diabetes, time since this treatment is ongoing. Kindly contact me with this information.
Apart from this, you must follow lifestyle measures for better control of your diabetes, if you are not doing them presently. This includes taking healthy diet and doing regular physical activity for 30-45 minutes like walking, cycling, swimming, aerobics etc...more

Warts are spread through touching, so you should never touch a wart you see on someone else. You can also spread warts from one part of your own body to another. A few natural remedies for wart removal include (do patch test first)
â¢garlic extract. Garlic contains allium sativum, a compound with antiviral properties. Crush a fresh clove of garlic and apply the crushed pieces to the wart. Cover it with tape or with a bandage and reapply daily. Note: garlic is known to cause chemical burns o...more

Hello, thanks for the query.
Madam as I can see that you are already on multiple medications both oral and insulin injections. Whether to add one more can only be decided based on the actual blood glucose levels and hba1c%, plus your diet, height, weight and exercise schedule. Plus there is a need to know the level of kidney function like serum creatinine, urea, microalbuminuria, lipid profile and egfr. You have not given any of the relevant information. So there is no way to give any opinio...more

Hello-
The testicles are extremely sensitive organs. A minor strike to them can produce excruciating pain. More importantly, injuries can jeopardize the health and functionality of the testicles, possibly leading to male infertility. Therefore, testicle pain needs to be examined and treated immediately.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
The blood glucose level random is too high, suggesting no control on diabetes. It means Glycomet GP1 is not enough. There is a need for additional treatment. As regards Tab Glinzihenz, I am not aware what it contains. It is better if the contens are mentioned. Ideally blood glucose should be maintained as follows: FBG:< 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. Then it is considered s good control and that helps prevent or postpone long term complication...more
