Hello Doctor. I am 29 years old and having a 11 months old baby. I gained too much of weight in pregnancy. Last month I was diagnosed with pcos and my doctor asked me too loose weight and also have prescribed me medicine like metformin hydrochloride sustained release tablet and elestra cyproterone acetate & ethinylestradiol tablets. Also caberlact tablet once a week as my prolactin is 77. For loosing weight I have joined gym .My current weight is 85 kg. The gym trainer Has advice me to take 1lemon juice after all d 3 meal but have asked to consult doctor before taking lemon juice as according to him lemon can have adverse effects on d medicine taken. So I want to seek your advice. Can I take the lemon juice for weight loss?

Weight loss happens by continous diet management and regular exercise.
Lemon juice is a healthy drink but it has no role to play in weight loss. It is just a myth like many others like Green Tea. Aloe Vera. Etc.

Hi Doctor, I'm 23 years old married about 1 year 7 months my husband age is 35 and today going to Dr. for checkup for planing baby we all test taken ultrasound, semen analysis and thyroid complete blood and urun test. Dr. Told me All reports are normal my last LMP is 13/7/16 no periods till today and then Dr. Given medroxyprogesterone acetate tablets IP and folic acid 5 mg then told me period after second day treatment will starts.(I want to conceive) What is problem in me what treatment to take I am worried about this. Hi, since your period is delayed you must have checked urine pregnancy test .Is it negative? That is why your doctor has prescribed progesterone for withdrawal bleeding. Once you get your period you will be given Tablets for the egg formation and a follicular scan will be done serially to track the egg development. Once it matures an inj may or may not be prescribed for the egg release and will be asked to do intercourse at that time so that chances to get pregnant is more. Please do not worry.

Dear sir, I have fibroid size 11 cms. Gynec gave me medicine ulipristal acetate called" esmya" for 3 months (jan to march 2015) to stop blood supply & shrink fibroid and cure anemia hb was 5.5. My hb is now normal at 13. But not had my periods from february. Also the fibroid shrink only 1 cm. Now doctor wants to surgery" uterine artery embolization" which can cause reaction to procedure & permanently cause menopause. Big risk. I am 32 years, unmarried and want to have children. Please help.

You should undergo myomectomy as the fibroid is too big for medical treatment.
Embolization for you will be too risky as it will affect the whole uterus and may affect ovaries.Myomectomy will be best for you.

Hi I think I had piles, so I went to a doctor at my hometown and he prescribed me Pantoprazole Sodium 40 mg & Domperidone 30 mg (empty stomach). And Cefixime 200 mg, Satranidazole 300 mg, (aceclofenac 100 mg, paracetamol 32g & serratiopeptidase 15 mg) twice a day. And also an ointment of lidocaine, hydrocortisone acetate, zinc oxide and allantoin to apply locally for 7 days. I had the the medicines for 7 days. I had two piles. The pain has reduced and the discomfort as well while passing the stool but they are not properly healed. One look likes there’s a cut. What should I do? I had anal sex earlier, could it be due to that? Other symptoms include itching on the anus, redness and itching on on front both the insides of thighs and dead white skin at the end of the penis. Please suggest.

I had unprotected sex on 14th nov 2015 and took an emergency contraceptive ipill within an hour. I was supposed to get my periods on 18th nov. But on 23rd nov I had light bleeding for two days (Instead of the usual 3 days). I have not got my periods again till now in dec 23rd or jan. 23rd I have taken multiple home pregnancy tests over the weeks and all have turned out negative. I visited a doctor who prescribed meprate (Medroxyprogesterone Acetate I. P. 10mg) as a five day course. One tablet in the morning and one in the evening for 5 days. I am on the 3rd day of the course. Please explain what meprate does also, could I be pregnant? If I am not when can I expect my period?

But now at the time of purchasing I found another injection luprodex 3.75 mg so wanted to know if both are same and have same effect? Hi i'm a pcod patient i'm having irregular period due to fibroids. I have been bleeding since 40 days with fluctuating flow. Have been taking ovral g for 4 months, ulipristal acetate for 4 days, trenaxa but I found all waste. It made me more sick by inner health, occurring pimples and most important nothing affected on my bleeding it never stopped. I'm really worried about my internal health and other organs as i'm unmarried and less fond of medical treatments. Allopathic doctors has suggested me dnc but i'm not finding it safe and not willing for it. Pls suggest me some homeopathy or other workable options with good expected results. Hi. I'm 18 year old. I had a small surgery for having normal mensuration a year before. It seems that I had a block somewhere in my reproductive system causing blood to store for years and the block was removed soon. I had sex with 2 months ago. Its almost 2 months and a week after the intercourse and I still have not got my period. After the sex he did not ejaculate inside the vagina or anywhere near. I found drops of blood a few time usually brown in colour. I took a pregnancy test from a local lab and came negative. After a few days I consulted a doctor and was given a medicine name medroxyprogesterone acetate ip .now I still have not got my period .the spotting is gone but white discharge can be seen. Im not in a state to be pregnant now. Is there any chance that I am pregnant? If not what is the reason why I'm having missed period. Also while I had my intercourse I had bleeding as well. I have not told the doctor about the intercourse I had because she is someone I know. Please help with answers.
