Hello, Thanks for the query.
It is always advisable to take Insulin before meal. That will help in controlling glucose increase after food. But if it is taken after meal, there will be a considerable amount of glucose rise in the blood. So it will take much longer to control it. Thanks.

Get your hba1c checked.
Do smbg charting with glucometer.
Good sugar control can limit ed problem in most early cases.
There are certain medications like sildenafil, etc which can help in this condition. Ed can be due to extensive atherosclerosis in pelvic vessels, neural, psychitric, endocrinal etc so investigating the cause is necessary.
