Dear lybrate-user
the protein levels mentioned by you are definitely not normal. These are probably due to an underlying disease. Treatment of the specific disease will bring your protein levels down. Unfortunately there are no drugs which will act only on bringing the protein down. Please share more details of your condition, so I may guide you to more tests if needed to determine your specific condition.
Take care.

Dear lybrate-user, welcome to lybrate. At your age, memory problems like amnesia, dementia or alzheimer's are not common. Many young people do complain having problems with memory. You need to understand this. If you still say, you are having memory problems, we need to check your memory using memory test.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
SInce both preparations contain Gliclazide, there is no difference. XL means sustained release, the molecule is released over a few hours, so that consistent amount of drug is available. Thanks.

Hi,
Diabetes is a disease which can be controlled with medication, diet and exercise and cannot be cured. Therefore, you cannot stop the medication when your blood sugar levels come back to normalcy. Raised Blood sugar level in the body is controlled by the medications. If you stop the medicines, again the blood sugar level rises. Hence a maintainence dose of the medicine has to be taken for life long.

Lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query.
Both above mentioned tablets can be taken together (not at the same time) for controlling blood glucose, if prescribed by the doctor. Thanks.
