Hi. Continue with the injections as advised by your doctor. Folic acid is to be taken throughout the first trimester to prevent neural tube defects. Continue that also. She should take bed rest as she was having spotting, no strenuous exercise, no lifting of any heavy weights and no relations with husband. Also, avoid papaya, pineapple and Chinese food. All the best!

Hello,
Nausea and vomiting are very common in pregnancy, however, they usually subside by 16 weeks of pregnancy.
Steps you can take are: 1) avoid triggers (smell, food) which precipitate nausea 2) avoid oily and spicy food 3) take carbohydrates rich bland diet
4) take small meals at frequent intervals 5) after getting up in morning eat toast or cracker biscuit with small amount of water
