There are several treatment options for an enlarged prostate. You can take alpha-blockers such as terazosin (hytrin) or tamsulosin (flomax) to help relax the prostate and bladder muscles. You can also take dutasteride (avodart) or finasteride (proscar), a different kind of medication for reducing bph symptoms.

Though feet pain and tingling are not known / frequently reported side effects of tamsulosin / urimax, consulting your doctor with these complaints is advisable. There are several causes independent of your medication that could be the cause. If you are a diabetic, that could cause these symptoms or there could be a problem with lower spine. But instead of speculating, its better to get it thoroughly checked by a doctor.

Start tab tamsulosin 0.
4 mg and drink plenty of fluid daily around 4-5 litres daily. If you still feel symptoms after taking the medication then you can get the stone removed endoscopically by a urologist.

You may switch over to alternative drugs to tamsulosin and see response or you may additionally take other drug such as pde5 inhibitors with your urologists consultation. See for one more month. If not much response then go for procedure such as turp. Uroflowmetry test will guide better.

Hello Mr. lybrate-user, flokind contains tamsulosin, which has basically similar action as silodal, although the salts are different, if you have any renal problem, then you may shift over to flokind, otherwise, silodal is just as good.
