Hi,
Please follow these home remedies to cure constipation:
- Eat a big bowl of papaya daily before or after food.
- Soak dry fig in water overnight and eat it in the morning every day.
- Add 2tsf of lemon juice and a pinch of salt to a glass of hot water and drink it on empty stomach in the morning.
- Eat one medium sized raw potato along with its peel daily.

Limit the amount of white bread, sugar, meat, junk food and milk products (cheese, milk, butter, cream.) and increasing fresh fruits, veggies, water and fiber (beans, oats,) also yogurt really helps due to the probiotics. 1. take 6-8 glass of water in a day
2.Regular Physical activity
Keeping mobile and active will greatly reduce your risk of getting constipation.
Ideally do at least 150 minutes of physical activity every week.
3.You should have about 30 g of fibre a day.

If you have already tried medicines then it's better that you consult a surgeon. Chronic constipation is the manifestation of a lot of serious problems like intestinal obstruction, genetic disorders etc. Get the proper investigations done, diagnosed and then get the treatment for the underlying disease.
