Suffering from epileptic seizure or marks or dry not sure, treatment is going on from last 10 years but there is no benefit from that if any thing happens doctor simply changes the dose by 250 mg to 500 mg or 750 mg or even 1000 mg of valprol and there is one more name gardenal, Is there any doctor who can give guaranteed treatment.

My son 18 months old is having seizure since he was 1 month old. initially doctor gave him phenobarbitone. And after six months seizure free, he has a long seizure after which medicine was changed to levipil. He was seizure free for another six months but lately in last one month he has had three seizures. All his reports of eeg, mri, blood tests have been normal. We are a little confused about the situation. Should we consult elsewhere or continue with the ongoing treatment. Will he ever be seizure free?

Seizures reported early in life like before 1 year of age are long lasting and there are different types of epilepsy syndromes may be associated but maximum are benign type so don't be panic but continue the medicines and consult a pediatric neurologist as early as possible.

My father is 68 years old n he has been suffering from epilepsy for last 20 yrs. Recently he has been showing many symptoms of epilepsy like not responding anything. Not able to express n body imbalance. We consulted his regular neurologist n he advised valparin 300 mg tab to be taken with other regular AED like Epsolin 100 mg 4 tab a day n phenobarbitone 60mg in morning n 90mg at night. Hi, Our son is 4 years old and has Crigler Najjar Syndrome type 2 by birth. We r giving him Gardenal 2.5 ml once a day. Without medication his eye turns yellowish. As of now his fine and reaching all his milestones as per his paediatrician. We want to know more about this like what food to give what not to give anything which we have to know. Also, we are planning for a second baby we want to know are there any chances of second baby to having the same. Or do we have to have some medical checkup to prevent.

Epsolin 5. Gardenal .A month ago doctor recommended to do CT scan which results in fine report. Now I want that any of these medicines should be stopped as there are many side effects of these. Please guide in this regard.

Here is the excerpts from my CT Scan report, can you please let us know possible problem? I have stomach ache for a long time" A simple cortical cyst is seen at the upper pole of right kidney. The left renal vein is retroaortic. There is mild compression of the renal vein with slightly luminal narrowing as it courses between the aorta and the lumbar vertebra posteriorly. No obvious collaterals seen on the left side.
